Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, West Indies; Pastor Deron Hill spent his formative years in Clarendon where attended High School. From the age 12 years old, his love for preaching was evident through his active participation in all youth programes at the local church level. His passion for ministry soon led him to accept the call to Ministry and inspired him to pursue a degree in Religion and Theology at the Northern Caribbean University, Mandeville, Jamaica.
Pastor Hill is an advocate for holistic living and being guided by the principles of the Seventh-day Adventist health message, was inspired to pursue medical missionary training at Wildwood College, Georgia. As an ordained Elder, during his time in Jamaica, Pastor Hill also served as Adventist Youth (AY) Leader and Sabbath School Teacher. He is a committed servant leader and has been serving as an evangelist for ten years. In April 2022, he assumed responsibility as the senior pastor of the Stuyvesant Heights Church, Brooklyn, New York. He enjoys music ministry and maintains a strong affinity towards youth ministries.
Pastor Hill is married to Sophia Tyrell and together their union has produced their beautiful prince and princess Micah- Mikhail and Elisabeth-Sophia. He is the convener and speaker of the “Keys to the Kingdom Evangelistic Ministries” through which The Lord has brought hundreds of souls into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Hill is a certified John Maxwell leadership and executive coach and is a much sought after public speaker whose ministry has taken him across North America and the Caribbean. His favorite bible text is Isaiah 8:40, "the grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of God stands forever.” Pastor Hill is guided by the motto, “the mind consecrated to Christ is the measure of the man!”
